As you know we love all things tango, tango the music, dancing tango, tango history, tango festivals, and we love learning tango.

We put out a questionnaire to last year’s participants and we listened to what YOU had to say, so once again we have put in literally hundreds of hours to come up with a recipe for a unique, fun and exhilarating celebration of tango dancing, learning and connecting.

We stayed with the first weekend in March so you will have great weather, March 4th-8th is one of the prettiest times of the year in Tucson: the desert will be in full bloom and the temperatures will be around 73° F (22 ° C).

Last year we decided to try and maintain good gender-balancing and it worked very well so, we will be watching enrolment and keep inviting and plugging to be sure we keep a good balance of leaders and followers – so sign up early!

We have been working hard on all of our plans from floor size to the perfect venue! Rumor has it this year will be bigger than last year, so… I ORDERED MORE FLOORING – how simple is that? This will assure great floor craft, that and good awareness and an implemented fail proof plan that keeps the floor craft working!

Rumor says: “it takes two to tango” the truth is it takes us all! Come and join scores of tango lovers for a tantalizingly fun weekend of dancing, exhibition and instruction at the Tucson Tango Festival 2010 – Part II Raising the Bar!

You are our tango festival, you are why we organized this festival, and you are why we will participate and celebrate tango as we dance with you at this festival!

    Love & Light,
    Rusty & Jo
