Corina started dancing at the early age of 9, and by age 14 she was already dancing at the Milongas, learning the art of following and improvising from famous “milongueros”, big names in Tango History, such as Pupi Castiello, Tete Rusconi and Omar Vega among others. She also learned from Masters such as Julio Balmaceda & Corina De La Rosa, Fernando Galera & Vilma Vega, and Mariano “Chicho” Frumboli, among others. They guided her at the beginning of her journey throughout this marvelous world of Tango Dancing.
Corina has been dancing and teaching Tango for over a decade now, sharing her knowledge and love for the dance all over the world. She taught class all around Argentina and has been invited to teach abroad in countries like Chile, Uruguay & Colombia and all over Europe.
She had the pleasure of teaching with great dancers such as: Rodrigo Palacios (2003), Federico Naveira (2008), Octavio Fernandez (2009), and Pablo Rodriguez (the ex-partner of Noelia Hurtado).
Currently she is teaching Tango Workshops around Europe as well as in her home city of Buenos Aires, with great success and an increasing following of students interested in her deep knowledge of technique, style and musicality. She is now coming to the United States for the first time with her partner Octavio Fernandez.

Octavio’s passion for Tango started when he was a teenager, inside a family atmosphere where Tango, Folklore and Rock ‘n Roll were an everyday occurrence. In 2007, with Carla Espinoza, he won 3rd place at the “World Tango Salon Championship”.

Elegant, but full of freshness, his dance is the result thanks to hours and hours of dancing in the milongas porteñas. The influence of great contemporary tango masters and dancers, as well as the essence of the old “Milongueros” are embodied in every step he takes on a dance floor. He is known for his musicality and beautiful, original movements. He has partnered with dancers such as Noelia Hurtado and Alejandra Gutty.

That same year he started working, as a professional dancer, at “Sensaciones de Tango”, the Tango Show of the famous Cafe Tortoni of Bs. As., where he is still an active member of the artist staff. In the year of 2009 he was called, together with Corina Herrera, to join “Tango X2”, the renowned company of Miguel Angel Zotto, performing a Show at the International Festival “LatinoAmericando” in Milan, Italy. As a teacher and dancer is asked to participate in prestigious festivals around the world including Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Scotland, Turkey, Denmark, Korea, Italy, among others. He has participated at the shooting of, the Argentinian film, “Fermin, Glorias de Tango” and at musical video clip, of the italian rock band Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, for his song “La faccia della Luna”. His passion and interest for Tango music, led him to be one of the most recognized Djs. For the last 6 years he co-organized “El Yeite Tango Club”, one of the best and busiest milongas in Buenos Aires.
